SALSAS & GUACAMOLE

Is the Citric Acid or Acetic acid in your Guacamole derived from Corn or another source?

  • No, it is not.

HPP and our Salsas/Guacamole:

  • The HPP machine places our salsa containers in a cold water pressure up to 81,000 PSI killing bacteria at 99%, making our salsa safer without compromising quality and taste of the product.

Heat in the peppers:

  • Since we use fresh products there are several issues that impact the heat in the salsa.

    • As the season progresses, the peppers get hotter.

    • The closer to the "use by date" the chile has gotten hotter in the salsa.

  • Our Master Salsa maker- pepper human tester- tests daily for the heat in peppers for the batch.

Cilantro strands:

  • Cilantro "strands" are very thin and can in fact resemble “grey hairs”. All production employees are required to wear hairnets at all times. The strands may be more visible when our blades lose sharpness right before we sharpen them.

Chip bag:

  • We have always wanted the consumer to see what they are buying, hence the clear bag- but we understand that it isn't perfect- and it can rip more than desired. We are continuously looking for the most improved effective designs.
